Tuberose Mini Flower Press - Whispers on Flowers Historical Flower Language Romance Bundle
Signed Copy of
Whispers on Flowers
+ Handmade Maple Flower Press
Some flowers whisper.
Tuberose practically shouts!
In Victorian flower language, tuberose carried a reputation for intense emotion, dangerous attraction, and passions that were impossible to ignore. It was considered so intoxicating that young women were once warned not to linger too long near its fragrance after dark.
This special bundle includes a signed copy of Whispers on Flowers alongside a handcrafted maple flower press engraved with the original tuberose artwork used as a chapter illustration in the novel.
Created for readers, gardeners, and lovers of botanical history, this keepsake allows you to preserve your own flowers while holding a small piece of Clara Hartwell’s world in your hands!
Included in This Bundle
✍️ Signed paperback copy of Whispers on Flowers
🌸 Handmade maple flower press engraved with original tuberose artwork
🔩 Stainless steel hardware
💐 Blotting paper for pressing flowers
About the Flower Press
Each flower press is handcrafted in Washington State by Whitley Woodworking from maple wood and engraved with my original botanical illustration.
The artwork is the same tuberose design that appears within Whispers on Flowers as chapter art.
Every press is slightly unique due to the natural variation of the wood grain.
The Meaning of Tuberose
Victorian Meaning: Dangerous Pleasure, Intense Desire, Voluptuousness
Throughout history, tuberose has been associated with powerful emotions, irresistible attraction, and beauty that leaves a lasting impression.
It seemed like the perfect flower to include in a story filled with hidden messages, secret longings, and flowers that speak when people cannot.
A Note from Matilda
When writing Whispers on Flowers, I became fascinated by the real Victorian language of flowers and the stories hidden within ordinary bouquets.
The tuberose chapter illustration became one of my favorites because its meaning captures so much of what the novel explores: beauty, mystery, and the risks we take when we follow our hearts.
I hope this little flower press helps you preserve a few memories of your own.
