Lavender Mini Flower Press - Whispers on Flowers Historical Flower Language Romance Bundle
Signed Copy of Whispers on Flowers + Handmade Maple Flower Press
Not every flower speaks of passion.
Some shout of devotion!
In Victorian flower language, lavender symbolized constancy, loyalty, and devotion. It was the flower of enduring affection, the kind that remains long after first impressions fade.
This special bundle includes a signed copy of Whispers on Flowers and a handcrafted maple flower press engraved with the original lavender artwork featured as a chapter illustration in the novel.
Inspired by the flowers that carry hidden messages throughout Clara Hartwell’s story, this keepsake combines literature, art, and the timeless practice of preserving nature’s beauty.
Included in This Bundle
✍️ Signed paperback copy of Whispers on Flowers
🌺 Handmade maple flower press engraved with original lavender artwork
🔩 Stainless steel hardware
💐 Blotting paper for pressing flowers
The Flower Press
Each flower press is handcrafted in Washington State by Whitley Woodworking and engraved with my original botanical illustration.
Made from maple wood and fitted with stainless steel hardware, it is designed to preserve flowers, leaves, and botanical keepsakes for years to come.
Because every piece of maple has its own unique grain, no two flower presses are exactly alike.
The Meaning of Lavender
Victorian Meaning: Devotion, Constancy, Loyalty
Lavender has been cherished for centuries for both its fragrance and symbolism. In the language of flowers, it often represented steadfast affection and faithfulness—a reminder that some feelings deepen quietly over time.
In Whispers on Flowers, lavender appears among the flowers whose meanings mirror the hidden emotions, secrets, and relationships unfolding beneath Bath’s polished society.
A Note from Matilda
One of the joys of writing Whispers on Flowers was discovering how much Victorians could communicate through flowers alone.
Lavender became one of my favorite symbols because its meaning feels timeless. It isn’t about grand gestures. It’s about the people who stay, the promises that endure, and the quiet forms of love that often matter most.
I hope this flower press helps you preserve a few meaningful moments of your own.
